At True North Sailing, we strive to offer a seamless delivery experience tailored to your preferences. Choose between our standard and special delivery services for your convenience.

Our standard delivery usually arrives within 2-5 working days, while our special delivery guarantees next working day arrival. However, please keep in mind that delivery times might vary depending on the time the order was placed, your location, the chosen postage method during checkout, and product availability.

Orders placed before 1pm are scheduled for dispatch on the same day, ensuring a prompt processing and shipment. Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day. However, in the rare instance that an item is on backorder or if any unforeseen stock issues arise, rest assured that our dedicated team will promptly reach out to you. Our commitment is to keep you informed and address any concerns swiftly, ensuring a smooth and transparent shopping experience.

Enjoy complimentary standard delivery for orders £50 or over. For orders below this amount, a standard delivery fee applies unless an alternative method is selected during checkout.

All orders are dispatched via Royal Mail, while heavier packages over 6kg are shipped through reliable couriers.

During checkout, it’s essential to select your preferred postage option. Please note that the estimated delivery times for 2nd class and Tracked 48 services vary, while Special Delivery guarantees a specific delivery date.

Once Royal Mail takes charge of delivery, the responsibility for the delivery timeline rests with them, and we no longer have control over the process.

  • Tracked 24: Estimated Delivery, 1-2 working days – £5.99
  • Tracked 48: Estimated Delivery, 2-3 Working Days – £4.99
  • Special Delivery: Next Working Day Guarantee – £9.99

Backorders

  • If your order is on backorder, a member of the team will communicate with you regarding the expected delivery timeframe.

Undelivered orders

  • If you received a tracking number, we kindly ask you check its status.
  • Please thoroughly search the surrounding area of your home or check with neighbours.
  • If you are unable to locate your delivery, promptly reach out to us at sales@truenorthsailing.co.uk including your order number.
  • Our dedicated team will investigate this matter and liaise with you directly.
  • In the event your order is considered lost, we’ll initiate an investigation with the courier. Please note that we cannot offer a refund or arrange a replacement until this investigation is complete.
  • We will not refund or arrange for a replacement to be issued until the investigation is complete.
  • It’s important to note that if the tracking information confirms delivery to the intended address, supported by delivery evidence, we will be unable to proceed with an investigation. 
  • If your order wasn’t dispatched using a tracked service, kindly reach out to us via email so that we can verify its status through our delivery portal. Please note that when an order is shipped via 2nd class, the delivery status will only be updated once a delivery attempt has been made or if the delivery has been successfully completed.

Incorrect Order

Firstly we apologise, your satisfaction is our priority, and we’ll work diligently to ensure your order is rectified promptly. So we can resolve this matter promptly please follow the following steps

  • Contact us at sales@truenorthsailing.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Include an image of the received order, your order number and details of the incorrect order.
  • Our team will investigate and, if needed, arrange for the return of the incorrect order to True North Sailing.

Please note: If a return is required, we will dispatch the corrected order after receiving the return tracking details. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re committed to swiftly resolving this matter for you.

Free Delivery

Free delivery is applicable for orders over £50 and valid for UK mainland addresses only. These orders will be sent via Tracked 48 unless an alternative shipping method is selected during checkout, incurring additional charges. Shipping costs for orders not qualifying for free delivery will be calculated during checkout.

Should any orders be returned to True North Sailing, the buyer is responsible for re-delivery costs, which will be communicated and agreed upon via email.

Orders are dispatched and delivered Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 1 pm on the same day. In the event of stock level issues, our team will promptly update you.

An email notification will be sent upon shipment. Please check your junk/spam folder and ensure accurate email details during checkout.

For shipping outside the UK, kindly contact True North Sailing for pricing before placing your order. Free returns are not applicable for international orders; refer to our returns policy.

Please note, during busy periods such as Christmas, postal strikes, or adverse weather, deliveries may experience delay.
