FenderFits F4 Single Fender Socks – Royal Blue

Protect your boat’s topsides and give your fender a smarter appearance with the FenderFits F4 Single Fender Sock in Royal Blue.

Designed to fit a compatible F4 cylindrical fender, this durable acrylic fender cover creates a soft barrier between the fender and your boat. It helps reduce the transfer of dirt and grime that can cause unattractive marks on gelcoat, painted topsides and other exterior finishes.

The tightly knitted acrylic fabric fully covers the body of the fender while leaving the attachment eye accessible. Its stretch construction provides a close, secure fit and a clean appearance when correctly matched to the fender size.

As the boat moves against a pontoon or neighbouring vessel, an uncovered fender can produce an irritating rubbing or squeaking sound. The fabric cover helps reduce this noise while cushioning contact between the fender and the hull.

FenderFits acrylic covers use high-bulk yarn with low moisture absorption and good resistance to mildew, making them well suited to regular use in a marine environment. The fabric is soft against the boat but sufficiently hard-wearing for repeated mooring and docking.

The Royal Blue finish adds a neat, coordinated look to your boat and can help refresh an older fender that has become stained or discoloured.

This product contains one F4 fender sock only. The inflatable fender shown in product imagery is not included.

1. What are FenderFits F4 Fender Socks?

FenderFits F4 Fender Socks are protective covers designed to fit Polyform F4 cylindrical fenders. They help protect both your fenders and your boat’s topsides from scuffs, dirt and abrasion while giving your boat a smart appearance.

2. Why should I use fender socks?

Fender socks reduce squeaking, prevent dirty fender marks on your hull and help extend the life of your fenders by protecting them from UV exposure and everyday wear.

3. What material are FenderFits made from?

FenderFits are manufactured from durable acrylic fabric that’s soft against your boat’s gelcoat while remaining hard-wearing and resistant to fading and mildew.

4. Are FenderFits easy to fit?

Yes. The stretch fabric slips over the fender and provides a snug fit, making installation and removal quick and straightforward.

5. Can I wash FenderFits Fender Socks?

Yes. They can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle to remove salt, dirt and grime, helping keep your boat looking its best.

6. How do I know which FenderFits size I need?

Choose the FenderFits size that matches your fender model. F1, F2, F3 and F4 socks are each designed to fit their corresponding Polyform F-Series fender.

7. What size fender does the F4 sock fit?

The F4 Fender Sock is designed specifically for Polyform F4 fenders measuring approximately 22 × 103cm (8.5 × 40 inches).

8. Why is the F4 supplied as a single cover?

F4 fenders are significantly larger than smaller F-Series models, so they’re typically sold individually rather than as pairs.

9. Is the F4 suitable for larger boats?

Yes. F4 fenders are commonly used on larger motorboats, cruising yachts and commercial vessels where extra hull protection is required.

10. Will the sock affect the performance of my fender?

No. The cover is designed to fit closely without affecting the cushioning or protection provided by the fender.
